THE PIPING PLOVER

Like many of Canada's at-risk species, the piping plover faces more than one threat to its survival. To reverse wildlife loss, WWF-Canada uses nature-based climate solutions — like protected areas and restoration - to address multiple threats to biodiversity while mitigating climate change at the same time.

THE PAINTED TURTLE

Every one of Ontario's freshwater turtle species are assessed as at-risk. With your support, WWF-Canada is partnering with communities and local water groups to better understand the health of our watersheds and take action to restore the rivers, lakes and streams that turtles — and all of us — depend on.
